In wholesale, it is not worth sending a single item. For each customer you can set a minimum total quantity of items per order, and on top of that a minimum quantity for individual products. The limit only applies to the customer it is set for; other customers and guests order without limits.
1. Switching it on
Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Minimum Quantity Settings
In the General Configuration section, set Enable Minimum Quantity Check to Yes.

- Enable Minimum Quantity Check - Yes.
- Error Message - text with %1 and %2.
- Message on the cart page - currently not shown.
In Error Message, enter the text the customer sees when the total quantity is too low. Use
%1for the required quantity and%2for the current quantity, for example: The minimum order for your account is %1 items; you have %2 in your cart. If you leave the field empty, the customer sees the default message: Minimum order quantity for your account is %1. Current quantity is %2.You can leave the Message on the cart page field empty; it is currently not shown in the shop.
Click Save Config.
{{min_qty}} and {{current_qty}}. These are not replaced with numbers in the message; use %1 and %2 instead.2. Total quantity for a customer
Customers › All Customers › (customer) › Account Information
In the Minimum Order Quantity field, enter the minimum number of items per order (for example 50). The total of all product quantities in the cart is counted. An empty field or 0 means no limit. Click Save Customer.

3. Quantity for individual products
Customers › All Customers › (customer) › Product Minimum Quantity
The tab shows a list of all products. Find the product (by name or SKU) and tick it.
In the Minimum Qty column, enter the minimum number of items the customer must order.

- The tick marks the product the limit applies to.
- Minimum Qty - number of items for this product.
Repeat for other products and click Save Customer.
On the page of such a product, the customer sees a red note Minimum quantity for this product: 10. If they order fewer at checkout, they get the message The minimum quantity for product (name) is 10.
What the customer sees
The cart and checkout look as usual. When the customer clicks the button to place the order, the shop checks the quantities; if they are below the limit, the order is not placed and your message is shown. The customer goes back to the cart, corrects the quantities and tries again.
Common problems
A customer with a limit can still place a smaller order
Check that the check is switched on for the right store view (top left, next to Scope:) and that the customer was logged in when ordering. The limit does not apply to guests.
The message shows {{min_qty}} instead of a number
Replace it with %1 and %2, as described above.
The Product Minimum Quantity tab is missing on the customer
The tab appears on existing customers, not when creating a new one. Save the customer first and open them again.
