Bankart / Activa card payments
Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) through Bankart: the customer pays on the bank’s page and the order is confirmed automatically.

About the module
What it does.
“Customers want to pay by card, and I want the payment to be secure and the order to know it has been paid.” Without a confirmed payment you are left checking by hand.
What it looks like in practice
The customer chooses card payment and is sent to Bankart’s payment page, where they pay with 3-D Secure. Once the bank confirms the payment, the order in your store updates by itself and only then does the order e-mail go out. If the customer abandons the payment, cron cancels the unpaid order after the set time, and a late payment is not lost.
What changes
- Visa, Mastercard, Maestro cards. Payment on Bankart’s payment page with 3-D Secure.
- The order knows it has been paid. The order is updated only after the bank confirms the payment; the order e-mail goes out after the confirmation.
- Debit or pre-authorisation. The amount is charged at once, or only reserved and captured with the invoice; when the order is cancelled the reservation is released.
- Refunds and instalments. A credit memo sends the refund (partial ones too) to the captured transaction; you offer instalments if they are in your contract with the bank.
Who it is for
Slovenian stores that have, or want, a contract with Bankart and card payment on the bank’s page.
How you set it up
The settings are in Stores › Configuration › Sales › Payment Methods › Payment cards (Bankart Payment Gateway). You enter the details from the Bankart portal (API user and password, connector API key, shared secret), choose the environment, currencies, countries and the minimum and maximum order total. Cron checks the status of payments every 5 minutes and cancels unpaid orders after the set time (60 minutes by default).
Good to know
- At payment the customer leaves your checkout and pays on the bank’s page.
- You need a contract with Bankart.
- The callback address has to be reachable without basic authentication.
- The checkout has to be Knockout-based (Luma, FireCheckout or Hyvä with the Luma checkout); Hyvä Checkout is not supported.

How to install it.
You get the module from our private Composer repository; we send you the user name and access key after purchase. We can install it for you, or whoever looks after your store can run these commands in the root of the Magento 2 store (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
