Express One delivery with lockers
Customers choose Express One to their address or to a parcel locker, and you create parcels, labels and courier pickups right from the order grid.

About the module
What it does.
"Customers want delivery to a locker, and we type every parcel by hand into the courier's web portal." Without a pickup point choice customers drop out, and without automation you spend half an hour a day in the portal.
What it looks like in practice
At checkout the customer picks Express One. They choose delivery to the address or to a pickup point: a map of lockers and parcel shops opens with addresses, distance and opening hours, searchable by place or postcode. In the order grid you select several orders and click "Express One: create parcels"; the orders are shipped and the parcel number is saved as the tracking number. You get the labels in one PDF and order a courier with one click.
What changes
- Two delivery options. Delivery to the address and delivery to a locker or parcel shop, each with its own name, price and rules. The home delivery price can come from your existing shipping rate table or be a flat price.
- A pickup point picker. A map and a searchable list of lockers and parcel shops, kept in cache, so the checkout never waits for the courier. The map needs no key.
- Parcels and labels from the order grid. Create parcels, print labels in one PDF and order a courier for the selected orders.
- Cash on delivery under control. You can switch off cash on delivery for locker deliveries, and the amount to collect is sent to the courier.
- The chosen point on the order. The chosen pickup point is visible on the order in the admin.
Who it is for
For shops that ship with Express One in Slovenia and want to offer customers lockers while saving themselves the manual entry of parcels.
How you set it up
Set up the delivery option under Stores › Configuration › Sales › Delivery Methods › Express One, and the connection to the courier (API key, labels, cash on delivery) under Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Express One. The parcel actions are in Sales › Orders in the Actions menu. It works on the standard Luma checkout.
Good to know
- For parcels and labels you need a contract with Express One and an API key from their account manager. Without a key the module shows clearly marked sample points, so you can already style the checkout.
- Hyvä Checkout is not supported.
- The list of points refreshes automatically every night, so cron must be running.
- The map uses OpenStreetMap by default; a very busy shop can enter the address of another tile provider.
- The module covers Express One in Slovenia; it does not replace other couriers.

Installation
How to install it.
We install the module from our repository with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install it for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

In the admin open Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Express One and Stores › Configuration › Sales › Delivery Methods › Express One.
- Under Magelan › Express One enter the API key you received from Express One and switch the pickup point picker on.
- Under Delivery Methods › Express One switch the method on and set the names, prices and rules for home delivery and for lockers.
- In the Parcels and labels group enter the cash on delivery payment method codes, the currency code and the IBAN as confirmed by Express One.
- At checkout pick Express One and a pickup point, then try the Express One: create parcels action in the order grid.
Where do I get the user name and the access key?
After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.

- Two delivery methods: to the address (from the shared rate table or a flat price) and to a parcel shop or locker the customer picks at checkout.
- A picker with a map (OpenStreetMap through Leaflet, no API key and no third party cookies) and a searchable list. The list is cached, so the checkout never waits for Express One.
- Parcels, labels and courier pickups from the order grid: labels come as one PDF and the pickup document as another.
- A shipment that cannot be committed is cancelled again at Express One.
- Cash on delivery follows the payment method code, not its title.
- Without an API key nothing is sent: the picker shows clearly marked sample points, so you can install and see the module before the account is live.
