If you have many locations, import them from a CSV file. Existing locations are updated by code.
Before you start
- a CSV file (in Excel Save as: CSV UTF-8) with the required columns code, name, address, city, country.
1. Upload the file
Catalog › Locations › Import and export
Download the sample CSV and compare its header with yours. Optional columns: type, postcode, region, lat, lng, phone, email, website, hours, always_show, products, categories, availability. In products list SKUs, in categories category IDs or URL keys, separated by a semicolon. Write opening hours as 1-5 08:00-17:00;6 08:00-12:00 (1 is Monday).
2. Check
Press Next: check the file. Nothing is saved yet. You see the number of new and updated locations, the rows with errors (you can download them as a CSV) and how many addresses the position search will fill in.
3. Import
Press Import. The locations are in the list at once. The positions of addresses without coordinates are filled in in the background, a few a minute; failed ones show in the list as "Address not found".
The same import can run from the command line: bin/magento magelan:productmap:import file.csv --dry-run.
