Extra columns in the order grid

Besides the built-in columns, the order grid has four extra ones: ordered products, billing phone, shipping phone and coupon code. So you can see what is in an order straight from the grid, and call the customer without opening the order. You can filter by all four as well.

1. Switching the columns on

Sales › Orders

Above the grid, click Columns.
Tick Order Items, Billing Telephone, Shipping Telephone and Coupon Code as needed.

4. Shipping Telephone.
5. Coupon Code.
Click outside the panel. The columns appear straight away and stay switched on even after you log out.

To change the column order, drag a column heading to a new position. If the columns get mixed up, click Reset under Columns.

2. What the columns contain

Column	Content
Order Items	each line: quantity, SKU in square brackets and product name, for example `2 x [ABC-123] Toner black`
Billing Telephone	the phone number from the billing address
Shipping Telephone	the phone number from the shipping address (it can differ for collection or a gift)
Coupon Code	the coupon the customer used on the order

3. Searching by product or coupon

Click Filters.
In the Order Items field, enter part of the product SKU or name (for example ABC-123). All orders containing that product are shown.
In the Coupon Code field, enter a code to see all orders with that coupon, for example to review a promotion.

2. Coupon Code - the coupon code.
3. Apply Filters - applies the filters you entered.
Click Apply Filters. Remove the filters with Clear all.

Searching by phone number works the same way: enter part of the number in the filter, with or without spaces, the way the customer typed it.

The Order Items column cannot be sorted, because an order has several products. The other columns are sorted by clicking the heading.

Common problems

The columns are not in the list under Columns

Clear the cache and reload the page. If they are still missing, write to us.

Searching by product does not find the order

Enter a shorter part of the name or SKU. The search looks at the SKU and name as they were when the order was placed; if you renamed the product later, search by the old name.

The grid loads slowly

With many rows per page, the Order Items column slows loading down. Show fewer rows per page, or switch the column off when you do not need it.

mage-messages	Tracks error messages and other notifications that are shown to the user, such as the cookie consent message, and various error messages. The message is deleted from the cookie after it is shown to the shopper.
private_content_version	Appends a random, unique number and time to pages with customer content to prevent them from being cached on the server.
section_data_ids	Stores customer-specific information related to shopper-initiated actions such as display wish list, checkout information, etc.
user_allowed_save_cookie, cookie_consent	Stores the user's cookie consent state for the current domain.
X-Magento-Vary	Configuration setting that improves performance when using Varnish static content caching.

recently_compared_product	Stores product IDs of recently compared products.
recently_compared_product_previous	Stores product IDs of previously compared products for easy navigation.

recently_viewed_product_previous	Stores product IDs of recently previously viewed products for easy navigation.
_fbp	This cookie is installed by Facebook to store and track visits across websites.

dc_gtm_*	Throttles request rate when Google Analytics is deployed with Google Tag Manager.
_ga, _gat, _gid, _ga_, _gat_	This cookie is installed by Google Analytics. They are used to collect information about how visitors use our website. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the website. The cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone.
