    The list of events we have implemented and the store reports:

    • view_item - product page view
    • view_item_list - viewing a category of items
    • add_to_cart - adding an item to the cart
    • remove_from_cart - removing an item from the cart
    • view_cart - viewing the cart (checkout/cart)
    • begin_checkout - starting the checkout process (checkout/onepage, firecheckout, checkout/onestep, etc.)
    • purchase - completing a purchase (checkout/success)
    • sign_up - user registration
    • login - user login to their account

    The displayed data is in Google Tag (gtag) format and should also be recognized by Tag Manager, according to the client's report.

  • Installation instructions

    Copy all the contents of the archive (.zip file) to the root directory of your Magento installation (often this is public_html). After copying the file, you need to refresh the store's cache and log in and out of the administration panel.

    Then, configure the module in the store's administration panel under System / Configuration / Degriz / Gtag for Google Analytics 4.

    Once the module is enabled and configured, you can test its functionality through the following page: https://tagassistant.google.com/
