About the module
What it does.
"For a complaint or a quote customers write to the general e-mail address, and then we spend half a day collecting the missing details." If you cannot build the form yourself, every new kind of inquiry waits for outside help.
What it looks like in practice
You open Manage forms and pick a template or a blank form. You add the fields (text, choice, date, file, a product search from the catalogue), decide which fields only appear after a certain answer, and where the mail goes depending on the chosen topic. You publish the form at its own address or place it on a CMS page with a widget. The customer fills it in and attaches a photo; you see everything in one place under Submissions, with a status and an internal note.
What changes
- You build the forms yourself. Fields for text, numbers, dates, choices, checkboxes, files and a product search in the catalogue, with validation (e-mail, phone, tax and postcode numbers) and a width of your choice per row.
- Conditional fields and mail routing. A field appears only after a given answer (for example an invoice number only for a complaint), and the notification goes to different recipients depending on the answer.
- Submissions in the admin. Every submission has a status (new, in progress, waiting for the customer, solved, rejected), an internal note, filters, a CSV export and attachment download. Old submissions can be deleted automatically.
- A step-by-step wizard. Instead of one long form, one question per screen with picture cards, a slider and a live price estimate. Templates for a bathroom, team wear and a room renovation are included, and statistics show the step where visitors drop off.
- Protection against spam. A hidden field for bots, a pause between two submissions, a required consent and, if you like, Google reCAPTCHA.
Who it is for
For shops and companies that receive inquiries, complaints or service requests and want to collect them in an orderly way: made-to-measure quotes, team wear, renovations, installations, service. The wizard is especially useful where customers find it hard to describe what they want.
How you set it up
You edit the forms in the admin under Content › Forms › Manage forms, submissions are under Content › Forms › Submissions, and the general settings (address prefix, attachments, privacy, e-mail, wizard) are under Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Forms. A form is available at its own address, or you place it with the Magelan: form widget. It works on Luma and Hyvä themes.
Good to know
- The module is switched on by default; a new wizard created from a template stays hidden until you publish it.
- The wizard remembers progress in the visitor's browser for up to 7 days (only choices and numbers, never contact details); mention this in your cookie and storage notice.
- The wizard price is an estimate: the final value is always calculated by the server and shown with the inquiry. The module does not issue a quote or an order; the inquiry arrives as a submission and an e-mail.
- Attachments are stored outside the public folder and are reachable only through the admin.
- reCAPTCHA needs Google reCAPTCHA Storefront keys in the store's security settings.

Installation
How to install it.
We install the module from our repository with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install it for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

In the admin open Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Forms and Content › Forms.
- In the settings check the address prefix (default obrazec), allowed file types and sizes, and the consent text.
- Under Content › Forms › Manage forms click New form and pick a template or a blank form.
- Add the fields, the notification recipients and, if you like, mail routing rules, then publish the form.
- Open the form at its address or place it on a CMS page with the Magelan: form widget, then send a test submission.
Where do I get the user name and the access key?
After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
