Guest wishlist
A shopper saves a product to a wishlist without an account and comes back to it later. At login the list merges with their account.

About the module
What it does.
"She likes the product, but she will not register just to remember it." Every product a guest cannot save is a product the shopper forgets about.
What it looks like in practice
A visitor browses your range on her phone and taps the heart on a few products. She has no account and does not have to create one. A few days later she comes back on the same device and finds her list at /wishlist/. When she decides to buy and logs in, the products merge with her wishlist.
What changes
- No account needed. A guest adds a product to the wishlist with the same buttons and at the same /wishlist/ address as a logged-in customer.
- The list stays on the device. It is kept for a year, and the cookie is set only when the first product is added.
- Carried over at login. When the guest logs in or registers, the products merge with their wishlist.
- Counter in the page header. It works together with page caching.
Who it is for
For stores where shoppers take longer to decide: fashion, gifts, home, pricier products. For anything a shopper compares or thinks over, a wishlist is a reason to come back.
How you set it up
The module has no settings of its own. It requires the standard wishlist to be enabled (Stores › Configuration › Customers › Wish List). A guest can add, remove and review products; sharing the list still requires login.
Good to know
- For a guest only the product and quantity are stored: chosen options (for example colour or size on a configurable product) are not kept.
- The module sets a cookie, so include it in your cookie notice.
- It works on the Luma and Hyvä themes.

How to install it.
We deliver the module from our own repository, installed with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install and set it up for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
