Brand list

The Brands category shows the CMS block magelan-brand-list with the Brand list widget: a search box, a letter index, featured brands and the brands in alphabetical order with logos. A brand without a logo shows its name in a frame. If no brand has a logo, a text list in columns is shown. All brands are in the page HTML, so search engines see them too; the search only filters them.

Searching hides the other brands as you type and dims letters without matches.

Content › Blocks

Add text around the list in the block magelan-brand-list. The widget has settings for the title, the display (logos or text) and featured brands.

Content › Pages

On the home page (or in a block) click Insert Widget and choose Brand logo carousel. Set the title, Featured brands only and the number of brands. On desktop a row shows six logos, on phones two and a half; the arrows appear when the logos do not fit on the screen. The carousel never moves by itself.

Brands in the menu

Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Categories from an Attribute

In the Brand pages group switch on Show in the main menu. The module turns on "Include in Menu" of the Brands category; the theme decides how the menu looks. The pages of single brands are not added to the menu.

Product page block and appearance

In the Product page group you choose the Brand block position (above the name, below the name or off), whether to show the logo and the maximum number of brands per product. In the Appearance group you set the accent colour, the corner radius and the logo height. Without a setting the module uses the theme colour.
