Customers see a chart only on the products it is assigned to. Without an assignment the chart is not shown anywhere (the chart list warns about it too). The "Check your size" link appears only on products that have a chart.
1. Add an assignment
Content › Size guide › Size charts
Open the chart and add one or more rows in the Assignment section. For each one choose the Assignment type:
- Product: search by name or SKU.
- Category: with the option Also its subcategories.
- Brand + clothing type: for example Alpina and Jacket.
- Brand or Clothing type on its own.
- All products: a default chart for the whole store.
The module reads the brand from the attribute chosen in the settings (default manufacturer). The Clothing type attribute (clothing_type) is added by the module; fill it in on products if you want to assign by type. The chart list shows a summary of the assignments of each chart and the total number of products.
2. Which chart applies
When several charts match a product, the most specific level with a match wins:
- the product's Size chart field,
- a product assignment,
- a category (the deeper category before the higher one),
- brand + clothing type,
- brand,
- clothing type,
- all products.
Within the same level the chart with the higher Priority is shown, one chart per group (men, women, kids, unisex). So a product can show a chart for men and one for women at the same time, and the customer chooses the group in step 1.

If two active charts have the same assignment and gender, the chart list flags it in the Warnings column. Saving is not blocked: if it is intended, nothing needs to be done.
3. Shortcut: the product field
Catalog › Products
For a single exception open the product and choose a chart in the Size chart field in the General group. This choice wins over all assignments. An empty field means the assignments decide.
4. Check what a product shows
If you do not see the link on a product, or a different chart appears than you expected, whoever looks after your store can run:
php bin/magento magelan:sizeguide:check
php bin/magento magelan:sizeguide:check MJ02 --store=2
The first command lists all charts, their assignments and shared assignments; the second tells which chart the product with SKU MJ02 shows in store view 2 and why. If you are our client, we check it for you.
The link is not shown when the module is switched off in the settings, when the chart is disabled or has no rows, or when the chart does not apply to the store view. The settings are described in Size guide: wizard and display.
