Customers who created an account in the shop are in the customer list. Customers who checked out as guests are not there; you will find their details in the order.
Customer list
Customers › All Customers
Find a customer with the search field above the list (first name, last name or email).
Add a new customer with the Add New Customer button, for example for a company that orders by email.

Add New Customer - the customer gets an account in the shop.
Editing a customer
In the list, click Edit next to the customer. The tabs are on the left: Customer View (summary), Account Information (name, email, group), Addresses, Orders, Newsletter and Wish List.
Correct the details and click Save Customer.
The customer has forgotten their password
Open the customer and click Reset Password at the top. The customer gets an email with a link to set a new password.

- Reset Password - sends the customer a link to set a new password.
- Create Order - a new order on behalf of this customer.
Other buttons
- Create Order - an order on the customer's behalf (see Placing an order for a customer).
- Force Sign-In - signs the customer out on all devices, for example if you suspect their account is being misused.
- Delete Customer - deletes the account; their orders remain.
Common problems
The customer does not get the reset email
Ask them to check their spam folder. Also check that the email in their account is spelled correctly.
The customer is not in the list, but they have an order
They checked out as a guest. They can create an account themselves with the same email, or you can add one for them.
