Product attachments (datasheets, manuals)
Datasheets, manuals and certificates sit on the product page and customers download them themselves. You get fewer e-mails asking for them.

About the module
What it does.
"Do you have a datasheet or a manual for this product?" You get the same question for every technical product, and every time you hunt for the PDF and send it by e-mail.
What it looks like in practice
A shopper is comparing two products and wants to check the details. On the product page they find a downloads section: a datasheet, a user manual and a certificate. One click and they have what they need, without writing to you. After the purchase, under 'My attachments' in their account, they find the manuals for every product they ordered.
What changes
- Files or links. On a product you add files (for example PDF datasheets, manuals, certificates, safety data sheets) or links, with a title per store and a sort order.
- Everything in one place. The attachments are in a section on the product page with a download link.
- Manuals after the purchase too. The customer account lists the attachments of all products they ordered.
- Download for logged-in customers only. If you wish, guests see the list but must log in to download.
Who it is for
For stores selling technical, mechanical, electrical or similar products where shoppers look for specifications before buying, and for stores that must hand customers safety data sheets or certificates.
How you set it up
The product form has an 'Attachments' section where you upload files or add links. General settings (default title, open links in a new window, login required to download) are under Stores › Configuration › Catalog › Catalog › Product attachments.
Good to know
- You can upload any file type Magento does not treat as unsafe (executable scripts, for example, are blocked).
- It works on the Luma and Hyvä themes.

How to install it.
We deliver the module from our own repository, installed with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install and set it up for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

Where do I get the user name and the access key?
After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
