In categories and search, shoppers see what they can buy right now first. Sold-out products drop to the end of the list by themselves.

About the module
What it does.
"A customer opens a category, the first five products are sold out, and they think we have nothing and leave." Moving products around by hand is a job nobody can keep up with.
What it looks like in practice
A shopper opens a category or searches for a product. At the top of the list are the products you have in stock, ready to add to the cart. Sold-out products are still listed, but at the end. When your supplier delivers new stock, the product returns among the available ones by itself and you do nothing.
What changes
- Available comes first. In-stock products come before sold-out ones, so the shopper sees at once what they can buy.
- It works in search too. The ordering applies to search results and to category product lists.
- Your order stays. Within each of the two groups the order stays as you set it (position or search relevance).
- No manual work. The module has no settings; when a product is back in stock it returns among the available ones by itself.
Who it is for
For stores where products are often sold out: with suppliers, seasonal ranges or limited batches. It pairs well with the back-in-stock notification module, which adds a sign-up to the sold-out product.
How you set it up
There is nothing to set up in the admin. We install the module and it works; it takes stock into account every time a list loads, with the default sort (by position).
Good to know
- If the customer picks another sort order, for example by price, the module does not change it.
- Sold-out products appear in the list only if showing out-of-stock products is switched on in your inventory settings.
- It works in the back end and on any theme, Hyvä included. If another module changes sorting, a test is needed.

Installation
How to install it.
We deliver the module from our own repository, installed with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install and set it up for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
