Town & postcode picker
The customer picks the town and postcode from a list instead of typing them. Fewer wrong addresses and failed deliveries.

About the module
What it does.
"The parcel came back because the postcode was wrong or the town was misspelled." Every failed delivery means the cost of the trip, the return and a second shipment.
What it looks like in practice
At checkout the customer clicks the town or postcode field in the address and picks the right entry from a list. One choice fills in both fields, and there are no typos. The parcel goes to an address the post office recognises, and you do not have to correct addresses by hand.

- Choosing instead of typing. The customer picks the town and postcode from a list.
- Data for Slovenia and Croatia. The list of towns with postcodes for both countries is included in the module.
- Fewer wrong addresses. Fewer failed deliveries and return costs.
- A faster checkout. One choice fills in two fields.
Who it is for
For stores that deliver to Slovenia and Croatia and struggle with wrong addresses. It is designed for the FireCheckout checkout.
How you set it up
The picker appears in the address form in the checkout (shipping and billing). The module has no admin settings; the town list is a file in the module, and we replace it with a new module version when it is updated.
Good to know
- The picker works for Slovenia and Croatia only; other countries get the regular fields. Extra countries require extending the module.
- For Slovenia and Croatia the town and postcode fields are read-only: a customer whose town is not on the list cannot type it.
- It is designed for the FireCheckout checkout; in the standard Magento checkout we test it before selling. Hyvä Checkout is not supported.

Installation
How to install it.
We deliver the module from our own repository, installed with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install and set it up for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
