Company accounts
Several people order under one company, each with their own login. The administrator invites colleagues, sets roles and a limit per order, and orders over the limit wait for the administrator's approval.

About the module
What it does.
"Several people from the same firm order from us. Each wants their own login, and everyone wants to see the firm's orders." Without a company account you share one password, or everybody orders alone and you guess who belongs where.
What it looks like
A garage registers as a company and enters its tax number; the owner becomes the administrator. In My account › My company they invite a mechanic and the bookkeeper. Each gets an e-mail with a link and joins with their own password. The mechanic is a buyer with a limit of €500 per order, the bookkeeper is a viewer: sees the orders, does not order. The mechanic places an order for €820 and pays on account: the order waits, the administrator gets an e-mail and approves or rejects it in My account › Orders waiting for approval. When the mechanic leaves, the administrator removes the access; the account and the order history stay.
What changes
- A company with an administrator and users. Everybody has their own login. The administrator invites colleagues by e-mail, gives them a role (administrator, buyer, viewer) and removes whoever leaves. A company always keeps at least one administrator.
- Invitations that cannot be abused. The link is valid for a limited time and works once, and joining works only with the invited e-mail address. Someone who types the tax number of an existing company does not get in alone: the administrators get a request and decide.
- The orders of the company in one place. A history by company, not by a typed text, showing who placed each order. Filters by user and order number.
- Approval of orders over a limit. Set the limit for the company or for a single user. An order over the limit paid on account, by bank transfer or cash on delivery waits for the administrator; a rejected one is cancelled and the stock returns. A card payment over the limit cannot be placed (or is let through, by setting), because the money is already taken.
- The rules hold on the server. A viewer, a user of a blocked or unconfirmed company and a buyer over the limit are stopped just before the order is created, whatever the checkout (Luma, Firecheckout, Hyvä, REST). The cart and checkout explain it to the customer.
- One customer group for all users. Set the group on the company and all its users get it, new ones too.
- For you in the admin. A list of companies with mass actions, a form with users, invitations, requests and the company's orders, confirmation of new companies, a notice about new companies.
- The shared base for other modules. There is one company; Customer prices (price lists per company), Payment on account and the ERP connection use it too.
- Luma and Hyvä, four languages. Pages without JavaScript, ready for a Content Security Policy; Slovenian, Croatian, German and English.
What it does not do
This is a company account for smaller B2B shops, not a copy of Adobe Commerce B2B: no departments, shared carts, quotes or per-company catalogues. A customer can be in one company; an adviser who works for several needs one account each. Approval has one level, without rules by category. The order details open for the person who placed the order; colleagues see the order in the company list.

How to install it.
You get the module from our private Composer repository; we send you the user name and access key after purchase. We can install it for you, or whoever looks after your store can run these commands in the root of the Magento 2 store (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

After installing, open Customers › Companies; the settings are under Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Companies. If you used Customer prices or the old Company orders extension, we move your companies over (the command with --dry-run first shows what it would create).
Where do I get the user name and the access key?
After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.

Questions we get most often.
Can every colleague use their own login?
Yes. Every user of the company has their own e-mail address and password, orders under the same company and sees the company's orders. The administrator invites them by e-mail and can remove them at any time; their account and order history stay.
Can I decide who may order?
Yes. There are three roles: administrator (manages users and approves orders), buyer (orders, optionally with a limit per order) and viewer (sees the company's orders, does not order). The rules hold on the server, whatever checkout you use.
What happens to an order over the limit?
With approval switched on, an order that a buyer pays on account, by bank transfer or cash on delivery waits and the administrator approves or rejects it (a rejected one is cancelled and the stock returns). A card payment over the limit cannot be placed, because the money is already taken; you can let it through without approval if you prefer.
Can someone join another firm's company by typing its tax number?
No. Whoever types the tax number of an existing company sends a request; the administrators get an e-mail and decide. An invitation also works: it is valid for a limited time, works once and only for the invited e-mail address.
Does the module replace Adobe Commerce B2B?
No. It is a company account for smaller B2B shops: company, users, invitations, roles, a shared order history and approval of orders over a limit. It has no departments, shared carts, quotes or per-company catalogues. A customer can be in one company.
