DPD parcel locker (Pickup)
At checkout customers choose home delivery or pick-up from a DPD parcel locker or parcel shop of their own choice.

About the module
What it does.
"I am not home during the day, can I collect the parcel somewhere else?" Many customers prefer to collect a parcel at a convenient point rather than at home.
What it looks like in practice
At checkout the customer picks DPD pick-up among the delivery methods. DPD's official widget opens with a map and a search, and in one list they find a parcel locker or a parcel shop nearby. They choose one, the point is written into the order, and you can see where the parcel is going.
What changes

- The choice is in the order. The chosen pick-up point is written into the order.
- Prices your way. The pick-up point has its own price, free delivery above a chosen amount and a country restriction; home delivery can read its price from the shipping rates table or use a flat price.
- Free shipping from cart rules is respected. Where the store ships free by rule, DPD does not charge the full price.
Who it is for
For stores that ship with DPD and want to offer collection from a parcel locker or parcel shop next to home delivery. Labels and tracking are covered by a separate DPD module.
How you set it up
In the admin under Stores › Configuration › Sales › Delivery Methods › DPD you switch the carrier on and set the names and prices of both methods. The picker appears only for pick-up, and pick-up points are available for Slovenia by default.
Good to know
- The module does not print labels or track parcels; a separate DPD module does that.
- No credentials are needed to choose a pick-up point; DPD Slovenia credentials are needed only when the shipment is created.

How to install it.
We install the module from our repository with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install it for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

In the admin open Stores › Configuration › Sales › Delivery Methods › DPD.
- Switch the DPD carrier on and enter the name the customer sees.
- For home delivery choose the price from the shipping rates table or a flat price, and optionally a free-shipping threshold.
- For the pick-up point enter the name, the price, the free-shipping threshold and the countries.
- Save, clear the cache and test choosing a point at checkout.
Where do I get the user name and the access key?
After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
