The pop-up shows on the first trigger that happens. You set the triggers in the When it shows section.
Marketing › Discount Popups › Campaigns › (campaign) › When it shows
1. On computers
- After time: seconds on the page (8 by default, 0 = off). Counted only while the tab is visible.
- Exit intent (computer): when the mouse leaves the window towards the tabs, after at least 3 seconds on the page.
- After page views, if you want to wait for a more interested visitor.
2. On phones
A phone browser cannot detect an intent to leave, so the pop-up opens on similar behaviour:
- Phone: idle: seconds without a touch (20 by default),
- Phone: quick scroll back up: after more than one screen down,
- Phone: return to the tab: after at least 10 seconds away.
The Back button is never changed. On phones the pop-up is a bottom sheet, and the button stays above the keyboard.

3. Where and to whom
- Page types: home, categories, products, search, CMS pages. Never in the cart or the checkout.
- Customer groups, Device and Cart value.
- Hide from newsletter subscribers and Hide from customers with orders, if you only want to reach new people.
4. Frequency
In the Frequency section set After closing, do not show for (30 days by default), the tab after closing and the reminder with the code. The pop-up shows at most once per visit.
5. Cookie banner
Leave Cookie banner at Wait automatically. The pop-up waits while an unanswered cookie banner is open (Magento, Hyvä, Swissup GDPR, Cookiebot, CookieYes, Complianz, OneTrust) and shows on the next trigger. Nothing opens in the first 3 seconds, while a banner may still slide in.
