About the module
What it does.
"The price on the comparison site is still the old one, and customers arrive expecting it." If you move products to marketplaces and comparison sites by hand, sooner or later the data no longer matches your store.
What it looks like in practice
You change a product's price or stock in Magento. At the next refresh the new value is in the file (the feed), and the portal picks it up from the address you entered with it. Each store view has its own file, so the Slovenian and English stores do not mix prices and stock. If you cannot wait, you create the file at once with a button in the settings.
What changes
- The file refreshes itself. On a schedule, in the nightly run; when needed you create it right away with a button in the settings.
- Data from one single store. Products, prices and stock are exported from Magento, so you do not maintain them in two places.
- Its own file for each store view. Products, prices and stock are exported for each store view on its own.
- A format that fits the portal. We pick the file format by portal: exports for Ceneje.si, Shoppster and Google Merchant Center are available.
Who it is for
For stores that also sell through price-comparison sites and marketplaces, or want their products in Google Shopping. If your products are already in the catalogue, the export is a quick add-on, not a new project.
How you set it up
Each portal has its own section under Stores › Configuration › Magelan (for example "Ceneje.si feed", "Shoppster feed", "Google Shopping feed"), where you set the products, fields and the file address. The portal picks up the file from the address you enter with it.
Good to know
- The portal decides the file format. If you need another portal or different fields, we tell you what is needed after reviewing your enquiry.
- For automatic refresh the Magento cron must be running on the store.

How to install it.
We deliver the module from our own repository, installed with Composer. We send you the user name and access key for the repository after purchase. If you prefer, we install and set it up for you.
In the root of the Magento 2 store run the commands (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

Where do I get the user name and the access key?
After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.
