Extended order grid
The orders list gets tabs with counts, coloured rows, and columns for items, phone, coupon and shipping country that you can filter by.

About the module
What it does.
“The customer called, but I do not remember what they ordered, and I dig through a hundred orders for the ones to ship today.” The Magento order list is the same for everyone and needs opening an order or filtering for every piece of information.
What it looks like in practice
You open Sales › Orders. Above the list are tabs: New orders (12), Processing (5), Pickup (3). Each has its own colour and a count, and the rows are coloured. Orders you must not miss get another colour and a word on the row, for example “Priority”. A customer calls and gives you only a phone number: you type it into the filter, the order is in front of you, and the row already says what they bought and which country it ships to.
What changes
- Tabs with counts. Each tab has a name and two conditions: order statuses and shipping methods. The number next to the tab says how many orders are behind it right now.
- Colour and a word on the row. Every order takes the colour of the tab it belongs to. A rule can paint over it and put a word on the order (for example “Priority”, “Pickup”); the first rule that matches wins.
- The items right in the row. Every item of the order is written as “2 x [SKU] name”, and you can filter by the SKU or the name too.
- Phone and coupon. The phone from the billing and from the shipping address and the coupon code sit in separate columns you can filter by.
- Shipping country. The row shows the country name and you can filter the list by country.
- Magento stays Magento. Search, filters, sorting, paging, columns and mass actions work as before; the tab is one more filter of the list.
Who it is for
Stores that work with the order list every day: packing, customer support, bookkeeping. You gain most with many orders, several items per order or sales to several countries.
How you set it up
After installing, the columns appear in Sales › Orders with nothing to configure; switch them on from the grid’s column menu. The tabs board is off by default: switch it on under Stores › Configuration › Magelan › Extended Order Grid and adjust the tabs and the colour rules there. The module is admin-only, so it does not depend on the theme (Luma and Hyvä).
Good to know
- If you already had our Order board or Shipping country modules, this module replaces them: the board settings and user permissions carry over on upgrade.
- The tab counts cover the whole store regardless of other filters: a tab can show 12 while the list under it shows 3 if you added a date filter.
- The module does not add free-text notes to an order; the word on the row comes from a rule.
- Filtering by the columns puts more load on the query than filtering by the default columns, which you may notice on very large stores.

How to install it.
You get the module from our private Composer repository; we send you the user name and access key after purchase. We can install it for you, or whoever looks after your store can run these commands in the root of the Magento 2 store (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):
