Quick order and CSV import
A business customer who orders the same things every month does not search for products one by one. They enter codes and quantities, paste a list from Excel or upload a file, and we check every line before anything goes into the cart.

About the module
What it does.
"Our customers order the same list of 40 products every month. Now they look them up one by one." In this kind of ordering speed decides, and mistakes are expensive.
What it looks like in practice
A customer opens the Quick order page and uploads order.xlsx with 120 lines. A summary appears at once: 117 lines are fine, two codes do not exist (for one we suggest the right one), one has less in stock than wanted. They fix what needs fixing and add 117 products to the cart with one click. They save the list as "Monthly order", load it next month and see current prices and stock.
What changes
- Three ways to enter. A table with search by code and name, a pasted list (code and quantity separated by semicolon, comma, space or x) or a CSV or Excel (XLSX) file. Columns are recognised by name; if that fails, the customer picks them.
- Checked before adding. Unknown code, out of stock, only part in stock, minimum quantity, quantity step, a product that needs options chosen. Every line says what is wrong and what the customer can do.
- Price in the preview. The price the customer sees in the catalogue: tier prices, catalog rules and customer prices if you use the Customer prices extension.
- All at once. Good lines go into the cart in one request. If one line fails the others still arrive, and the customer gets the failed lines as a CSV file.
- Saved lists and reorder. "My lists" in the customer account. From the order history the customer reorders in the quick order and sees current prices and stock.
- Luma and Hyvä. The page works in both themes, on phones too.
- Settings. Who may use it (signed-in customers, selected customer groups), maximum lines and file size, what we do with lines that are not fully in stock.
What it does not do
Old Excel files (.xls) are not read: save the file as .xlsx or .csv. Products with options (colour, size) cannot be chosen on this page: the customer enters the variant code or opens the product page. Guests cannot use the quick order by default.

How to install it.
You get the module from our private Composer repository; we send you the user name and access key after purchase. We can install it for you, or whoever looks after your store can run these commands in the root of the Magento 2 store (replace UPORABNIK and DOSTOPNI_KLJUC with the user name and access key you received):

After the purchase we send you the access key by e-mail. Keep it safe: for security it is shown only once and we do not keep it in readable form. The user name (your project code) and all the commands, ready to copy, are in your account under My account > Module licences.

Frequently asked questions
Questions we get most often.
Does the module replace Magelan_ImportOrder?
Yes. Quick Order includes everything ImportOrder could do (file upload, sample file, order export) and adds table entry, pasting a list, row checks and saved lists. The old addresses (importorder/...) keep working. Existing ImportOrder customers get the new module at no extra charge.
Which files can a customer upload?
CSV and XLSX. Save old Excel files (.xls) as .xlsx or .csv. We recognise the columns by name (code, SKU, quantity, qty ...); if that fails, the customer chooses them manually.
What happens to rows that are out of stock?
We mark them before adding and tell the customer why. You can set whether they are skipped or added up to the quantity available. Products that may be ordered without stock always go in full.
Does the customer see their own prices?
Yes, the preview shows the price as the customer sees it in the catalogue (including customer-specific prices if you use the Customer Prices module).
Does it work on Hyvä and Luma?
Yes, in both themes. Hyvä Checkout is not required and the module does not change it: after adding, the customer goes to the cart.
