We are selling the web application Tochko (www.tochko.com), which enables easy and quick creation of viral online prize games.
Since we have turned to other business ventures and are running out of time, we decided to sell the application, as it has enormous potential.
The application was launched in October 2014. During this time, around 100 prize games were conducted. It is an application that allows you or the users of the application to easily create viral prize games.
Revenue model: Payment is per acquired contact, which means that the creation is free, while users of the application then pay per acquired contact/email obtained in the prize game. This contact also belongs to you as the owner of the application.
The price list is published on www.tochko.com/cenik, but we usually gave clients an additional approximately 20% discount on this price list.
The prize game takes place in 3 phases:
- Phase: participants enter the required data (name, surname, email) and answer the prize question, agreeing to the terms of participation. An example can be found at www.tochko.com/nagradna-igra/lepa-v-poletje-2017
- Phase: viral phase where participants can invite their friends to participate via email, Gmail, or social media. Each participant invites an average of 3 to 5 friends.
- Phase: thank you for participating and the possibility of an additional promotional code for shopping in the organizers' stores. In our experience, this is a great feature, as quite a few promotional codes were used.
We developed the web application ourselves (i.e., the company Degriz d.o.o.). The functionalities and features that the Tochko application includes:
- Unique design and layout of the application, and domain.
- The application is translated into 4 languages - Slovenian, Croatian, German, and Italian.
- The general terms of the prize game have been reviewed by a lawyer and an information commissioner, so they comply with Slovenian legislation.
- User registration system.
- Easy creation, editing, and modification of the prize game for users.
- Automatic creation of general terms of the prize game.
- Automatic viral elements of each prize game - email invitations, Gmail invitations, sharing of the prize game.
- Automatic drawing of winners.
- Export of participants in the prize game in CSV format.
- Dynamic pricing of the prize game.
- Possibility of multiple participating users in one prize game >> for example, there can be three organizers of the prize game.
- Possibility of sending emails via Amazon SES server or via own SMTP server.
- Built-in system to reduce spam and abuse of the system.
- Possibility of publishing blogs, news.
The sale of the web application also includes:
- Email database of participants. The Tochko database currently contains 73,323 unique emails, which you can use for further promotions >> mostly middle-aged women interested in fashion, health. Contacts by country: Slovenia 81%, Croatia 15%, Italy 4%.

We also include the Sendy program for sending emails and past graphic templates of prize games in PSD format.

We did not invest any money in marketing the system itself, as we did not have much time to deal with the application.
We have prepared a contract for the sale and transfer of the application to another company together with lawyers, so we already have this part legally arranged.
The price for the web application with all the above-mentioned items is €20,000 + VAT. The price also includes all 73,323 email contacts.
