Are you selling sneakers, televisions, garden furniture, or cosmetics? Can't break through to the first pages of Google?
You can greatly help yourself with writing various content – articles, blogs, contributions (it doesn't matter what you call them), which you publish on your website.
However, it's not just about opening Word and writing whatever first comes to mind related to a certain topic. When writing articles, you must adhere to some rules if you want the articles to have value and bring you some customers.
1. Content
First, decide what you want to write about and choose a keyword (e.g., pantyhose, water bottle). The chosen keyword must then be repeated several times in the text. It should be used 5-9 times every 250 words.
2. Title
The title must be attractive from the user's perspective, as it depends on the title whether the user will open the article or not. The title is also important from an optimization perspective, so it should also contain the keyword (preferably in the first position).
3. Article URL
The URL should be the same as the article title and should not be longer than 50-60 words. Avoid characters like €, @, &, and similar.
4. Length
The length of articles is always a dilemma, with many theories existing about it. Google prefers longer articles, as longer content is ranked better. Roughly, articles suitable for optimization should be around 1000 words long, possibly shorter, but never below 250 words.
5. Format
To make reading easier for the reader, use titles and subtitles or headings (<H1> title, <H2> subtitle …), bullet points, and highlights. Google will also more easily review the structure and rank it higher.
6. Adding images
To enrich the content, use images, which must be equipped with the correct name. Example: content-photography. People often search by images, and in this way, you can get new visitors to your site.
7. Adding links
If you already have related content published, it makes sense to add links to the article. It is also sensible to occasionally add a link to an external site if it is important (e.g., domain *.edu or *.gov), as it increases the value of the article.
