  • How to use

Copy all the contents of the archive (.zip file) to the root directory of your Magento installation (often referred to as public_html). After copying the file, you need to refresh the store's cache and log in and log out of the administration.

How to Generate a URL to Add a Product to the Cart:

    1. Select the product to add: First, you need to choose the product you want to add to the cart via a link. Make sure you know the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) of this product.

    2. Specify the quantity (optional): If desired, you can specify the desired quantity of the product to be added to the cart. You add the quantity by appending .Quantity to the end of the URL, where "Quantity" is a number (e.g., .3 for three pieces).

    3. Set product options (optional): If the product has options (e.g., color, size), you can also specify these options in the URL. You specify options by adding .Optional1.Value1.Optional2.Value2 to the end of the URL. Make sure to enter the correct values for the product options.

    4. Add a coupon code (optional): If you want to use a coupon, add a coupon parameter to the URL. You can specify the coupon code as you wish (e.g., coupon=CODE).

    5. Create the URL: Now that you've specified the product, quantity, any options, and a coupon code, create the URL. Compose the URL as follows:

      http://www.yourstore.com/addmultiple/index?products=SKU.Quantity.Optional1.Value1.Optional2.Value2&coupon=CODE
      • www.yourstore.com should be replaced with the actual address of your Magento store.
      • degriz/addmultiple/index is the path to the action performed by your module. Ensure that this path is correctly configured in your Magento installation.
    6. Final URL: The final URL will look something like this:

      http://www.yourstore.com/addmultiple/index?products=SKU.Quantity.Optional1.Value1.Optional2.Value2&coupon=CODE
    7. Redirect to the cart page:

After adding a product to the cart via the URL, users will be redirected to one of two possible pages, depending on your settings in the URL. If you want users to be redirected to the cart page after adding the product to the cart, ensure that you add the cart=1 parameter to the URL. This way, the user will be redirected to a page where they can review and complete the purchase:

      • Final URL for redirecting to the cart page:
        http://www.yourstore.com/addmultiple/index?products=SKU.Quantity.Optional1.Value1.Optional2.Value2&cart=1

If the URL does not include the cart=1 parameter or if the cart value is set to 0 or omitted, users will be redirected to the checkout page. This allows them to proceed immediately with the checkout.
